Food & Beverage Industry Emerging Trends Report

Reading Time: 1 mins

A note from our founder

Having been a food entrepreneur in the past, I am personally extremely energised by the momentum the F&B sector has gathered, both globally and in India. While trends and business cycles keep changing, what doesn’t is a hunger for the sector (pun intended).

As we continue to see generalist funds–both within venture capital and private equity–flock to the sector, a refreshing wave of new investors has emerged. I have always believed that investors shouldn’t just choose the founders they invest in; founders should be able to choose who they partner with too. This creates a whitespace for sector-focussed funds to bring their operational chops to space as nuanced as F&B, further enabling founders to build resilient businesses.

Having worked on multiple exclusive mandates in F&B over the last few months, we look forward to continuing our engagement with some of the most exciting founders and funders in this space. Whether you’re cooking up your next business or want to bite into the action, we would love to hear from you; reach out at: [email protected]
